More convenient and more sustainable –
cracking good from first bite to last crumb

Simple to reclose, easy to dispose of, while still protecting that distinct crunch: The new packaging concept for our wholegrain crispbreads does it all. Our crispbread varieties will be sporting the new look on supermarket shelves from 2021 onwards.

The best part? The bag is still recloseable via the label, thus providing thrice the delight: simple to open and close, 30 % less plastic foil, and an increase in recyclability to 88 %; a great value according to the independent cyclos HTP institute (EU-wide certification on national level for Germany and Austria).

And the content remains completely unchanged!

In the past years, our small village bakery roots have grown into a family business which is now in the 3rd generation – directed by Dr. Klaus Karg. Right from the start, we have held one aspect especially close to our hearts: In all our actions, we always make sure that our growth as a company and our development will not put future generations in a worse position than our own. This aspiration is incorporated in our daily work through various measures and projects.
